Image description: Kristin Fouquet, "Les Fleurs de Papier No. 5", 41: Pressed flowers in books, collages, and pop-up books were the inspiration for this photography series. The first step was to take photos of flowers in my garden. I edited the two-dimensional images, then printed them on photographic paper, cut them out, and stacked them to create a three-dimensional representation of the original flowers. I placed each of them into one of the books I have written—Surreptitiously Yours (Le Salon Press, 2016)—then took a final photograph.
