Krewe du Vieux is Saturday night. The pulse of the city is quickening as we gear up to celebrate our traditions and our most beloved holiday. Group costumes are always a bit daunting as getting everyone to agree on a theme can be challenging. This year, the idea came from the smallest of the group. My six-year-old son wanted a tuxedo as one of his birthday presents. He received it in time to wear for New Year's Eve. I asked him why he wanted a tuxedo and he said he wanted to be a spy. Apparently, he believed a spy only needed a tuxedo and sunglasses. Since then, he has learned other gadgets are often handy for the spy (Thank you, Q).
